In the rural community of Cañada de Garcia, a new school kitchen was inaugurated in September. Now, 34 students in the elementary school Emiliano Zapata are receiving healthy lunches every school day from Feed the Hungry San Miguel.

The extremely poor community of San Isidro de la Cañada de la Virgen is now receiving aid through our food extension programs.

This year we have opened three new kitchens and are now providing approximately 5,300 meals a day—up from around 4,000 daily meals last year. And next year, we will celebrate 40 years since Feed the Hungry San Miguel began its food programs.
