Cuando Tony y Shirley Adlerbert se mudaron a San Miguel desde Vermont hace m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os, r\u00e1pidamente se dieron cuenta de la necesidad de comidas calientes nutritivas para muchos residentes desfavorecidos. Hasta hace nueve a\u00f1os, Feed the Hungry funcionaba en dos casas, una de las cuales fue donada por Tony, en la esquina de Cinco de Mayo y Calle Moras. La organizaci\u00f3n ahora opera desde un gran almac\u00e9n. En reconocimiento a su liderazgo y dedicaci\u00f3n al bienestar de los ni\u00f1os de San Miguel, Feed the Hungry dedic\u00f3 su sede a los Adlerbert en 2021.<\/p>

El legado de Tony y Shirley se evidencia en el crecimiento de las operaciones de Feed the Hungry, que incluyen cocinas en 36 escuelas y otros programas educativos y de alivio de la pobreza en comunidades de todo el municipio.<\/p>
