Hace quince a\u00f1os, Michael Chadwick, patrocinador de la cocina de Feed the Hungry en la escuela primaria Naciones Unidas en la comunidad rural de Los Ricos de Abajo, visit\u00f3 la escuela y observ\u00f3 el programa de idioma ingl\u00e9s impartido por voluntarios. mariana<\/strong> se ve a s\u00ed misma en el futuro como alguien que se ha convertido en una gran y calificada enfermera, triunfante y haciendo lo que le gusta hacer: ayudar a los dem\u00e1s con todo su coraz\u00f3n. Vive con su padre, desempleado, y su madre, empleada dom\u00e9stica. En la escuela, sus clases favoritas eran ingl\u00e9s, c\u00e1lculo, f\u00edsica y estad\u00edstica, y las que menos le gustaban eran literatura e historia universal. Despu\u00e9s de estudiar en la Universidad Allende, le gustar\u00eda viajar a Estados Unidos, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, Italia y Par\u00eds, pero si tuviera mucho dinero, comprar\u00eda un auto \u00faltimo modelo (algunos maestros voluntarios juran que vieron ella conduciendo un cami\u00f3n cuando ten\u00eda unos 12 o 13 a\u00f1os!) y ayudar a su familia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Lupe<\/strong>\u00a0se describe a s\u00ed misma como alguien a la que le gusta ayudar a los dem\u00e1s, salir adelante a pesar de cualquier obst\u00e1culo que enfrente, aprender algo nuevo cada d\u00eda y como alguien que siempre va tras sus sue\u00f1os hasta lograrlos. \u201cSiempre busco la manera de lograr lo que me propongo. Pase lo que pase, nunca me rindo\u201d.<\/p>

Vive en Los Ricos de Abajo con sus padres y su hermana. Su padre, alba\u00f1il, estudi\u00f3 hasta el quinto a\u00f1o de primaria y su madre, empleada dom\u00e9stica, termin\u00f3 la primaria.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

En la escuela, sus materias favoritas eran filosof\u00eda, qu\u00edmica e inform\u00e1tica. La psicolog\u00eda le interesa porque le gusta ayudar a los dem\u00e1s, por lo que pretende estudiarla en la Universidad de Le\u00f3n en San Miguel de Allende.<\/p>

En cinco a\u00f1os se ve trabajando, pero su plan a diez a\u00f1os \u2014o sue\u00f1o, como ella dice\u2014 es tener casa propia y llevar a su familia de viaje, aunque no sean largos, para poder dar devolverles un poco de lo que le han dado.<\/p>

Estimamos que los costos de los estudios de cada ni\u00f1a (matr\u00edcula, libros, transporte y, a veces, vivienda) son de aproximadamente US$1500 por a\u00f1o.
