Innumerables estudios han demostrado que la desnutrici\u00f3n durante esta etapa cr\u00edtica del desarrollo y crecimiento de un ni\u00f1o puede conducir a una mir\u00edada de trastornos cognitivos y de salud de por vida.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-6d2ea0b elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"6d2ea0b\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-b4dba2f\" data-id=\"b4dba2f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-70555ce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"70555ce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Adem\u00e1s de proporcionar alimentos tanto a las madres como a sus hijos, el programa est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para diagnosticar y monitorear las condiciones de los ni\u00f1os, as\u00ed como educar a las madres sobre la nutrici\u00f3n adecuada a trav\u00e9s de talleres informativos.<\/p><p>Antes de la pandemia, el programa de Nutrici\u00f3n para la Primera Infancia estaba completamente activo en 4 de las 36 comunidades atendidas por Feed the Hungry. Durante la pandemia, el programa continu\u00f3 en esas comunidades, pero los talleres se suspendieron temporalmente debido a preocupaciones de distanciamiento social y un cambio de recursos organizacionales al esfuerzo de respuesta de emergencia de Feed the Families. Con el apoyo de la Fundaci\u00f3n Aldama, as\u00ed como de donantes privados como la familia Benediktson, FTH se complace en informar que los talleres se reanudaron a principios de este a\u00f1o y que el programa de nutrici\u00f3n se ampliar\u00e1 para llegar a un total de 10 comunidades.<\/p><p>El programa de Nutrici\u00f3n para la Primera Infancia est\u00e1 dirigido por nuestro jefe de cocina, Valentin Patlan. Dos graduadas de San Miguel College, la nutricionista Liliana Granados y la chef Paola del Carmen Sanabria, fueron contratadas el mes pasado para ayudar a implementar la expansi\u00f3n planificada en nuevas comunidades. El equipo es responsable de recopilar datos iniciales de una comunidad espec\u00edfica donde las mam\u00e1s y los beb\u00e9s han sido identificados y entrevistados previamente.
